League XI to play MCC this Friday

The Cheshire Women’s League XI to play the MCC at Ashton-on-Mersey on Friday August 4 at 1100 is as follows:

Dawn Prestidge (Oakmere, captain), Alexa Harrison, Megan Cureton (Oxton), Hannah Bratt, Katie Haszeldine, Christine Lawson (Wistaston Village), Kate Coppack, Hannah Snape (Chester Boughton Hall), Sami Fowler, Laura Jackson (Appleton), Raffaella Rodighiero (Oakmere)

Fielding reserve: Molli Coleman (Chester Boughton Hall)
Scorers: John Rishton (Ashton-on-Mersey), Caroline Sheridan (Didsbury)

Any volunteers from League players to be a second fielding reserve, please contact me.

Look forward to seeing as many supporters as possible. Free admission, and the bar is open all day. Unlike previous years,
this will be a 50 overs per side win/lose match with a single meal interval, which will happen between innings.

A barbecue will take place at the end of the match, and again all are welcome.

The host club are hopeful that the match will take place as scheduled, provided there is not more rain than forecast.
