Division Two – August 1:

Stockport Georgians 168-9 (35; Liv Bell 69*, Lucy Neill 44, EllaThomas 4-15, Lauren Kenvyn 3-27) (25pts)
Porthill Park 2nd XI 114-9 (35; Amy Griffiths 32, Evie Sharpe28*, Matilda Gater 21, Bell 3-13, Neill 3-17, Amelie Batey 2-6) (9pts)

Liv Bell and Lucy Neill were the architects of this victory for Georgians, with Bell initially holding firm with the bat at the start of the game as her side were reduced to 34-4. Neill joined her at the crease and made a rapid 44 to continue their progress towards an impressive total. Amy Griffiths and Matilda Gater put on 58 in 10 overs for Porthill's first wicket, only for a collapse to ensue when Bell and Neill were summoned to the bowling crease. This win takes the Stockport side to the top of the table, although they have played the most matches, and will probably need to win all of their remaining games to stay in title contention.

Nantwich 190-5 (35; Madi Hudson 90, Beth Hughes 22, Grace Michell 21*, Sarah Sutcliffe 3-17) (25pts)
Ashton-on-Mersey 42 (27.2; Izzy Pearson 2-3, Bethan Robinson 2-7, Michell 2-11)(3pts)

Madi Hudson made the second highest individual score in this division this year as Nantwich also made the highest team score of 2021 in division two. An excellent all-round bowling performance completed a comprehensive win.

Division Three West – July 16:

Nantwich 2nd XI 113-4 (20; Madi Hudson 25ret) (25pts)
Wistaston Village 46-7 (20; Anna Bourne 11*, Izzy Pearson 2-7)(3pts)

Another win in Nantwich’s good sequence of recent results

August 1:

Chester Boughton Hall 2nd XI 71(28.3;  Nandu Valliyil 29, Rhian Thomas 3-21, Ela Closs-Sharpe 2-9) (1pt)
Hawarden Park 74-0 (12.3; Nicola Deane 38*,Abbi Mayers 29*) (25pts)

Hawarden Park wasted little time in completing this win that takes them within two victories of clinching the divisional title.

Division Three East – July 26:

Woodley 124-6 (20; Alex Wilson 56*, Emily Mason 31, K Carson3-22) (25pts)Didsbury 2nd XI 110-5 (20; Abby Nicholson 42, Helen Johnson 42,Gemma Stewart 4-20) (8pts)

Woodley moved one step closer to the title after Alex Wilson's56 from 45 balls set them on the way to a total that proved beyond Didsbury's reach, despite Abby Nicholson and Helen Johnson adding 86 for the first wicket. Hayfield are now the only team that can catch Woodley, and the title will be won by Woodley if they were to beat Hayfield on August 15. However, a Hayfield win in all of their last three matches will give them the title, unless Woodley scoop 10 bonus points in the August 15 encounter.

Woodley v Hayfield – no play due to rain on original date of July 4 and will not be re-arranged, 8pts each.

Division Four – July 29:

Lindow 2nd XI 76-6 (20; Sara Bracken 19*,Blessing Neththasinghe 2-4) (15pts)
Stockport Georgians 2nd XI 76-7 (20; Grace Bell 22, Jess Lightowler 2-11, Hannah Brooks 2-11) (15pts)

Stockport Georgians' second team will have to wait for clinch the fourth division title after this encounter resulted in the first tie in a league match this year. However, Georgians only need four points from their two remaining matches to guarantee top spot. Here, they suffered a run out off the final ball when seeking the winning run, after Grace Bell played the major role in helping them recover from an early collapse.

Senior Knockout Semi-Final - July 26:

Appleton Tigers 137-7 (20; Georgia Heath31ret, Annie Rashid 31ret, Emma Royle 2-9)
Stockport Trinity Fire 75-4 (20; Ellie Mason 32ret, Sami Fowler 2-29)

Appleton eased into the final as they search for their third win in this competition. As in previous T20successes for the Tigers this year, their batting depth was apparent, with rapid contributions all the way down the order. Rashid's 31 came from just 20 balls and Becca Othick (17 from 10 deliveries) and Abbey Gore (14 from five) kept the scoreboard moving quickly all the way to the end of the innings. As for Trinity, after winning the T20 double the last time these competitions were contested back in 2019, and winning last year's Summer Series Eastern Division, they now face a year without winning a trophy.
