Division One – September 11:

Leigh 134-8 (40; Rachael Walsh 45, Sophie Heaton 44, Annie Rashid 2-16, Emily Page 2-22, Amy Seddon 2-23) (6pts)
Appleton 135-3 (33.3; Holly McCurrie 56, Georgia Heath 23*, Kathryn Jackson 22) (25pts)

· New champions Leigh went down to defeat in their final match as runners-up Appleton continued their strong end to the year. After her amazing century the previous week, Georgia Heath had only 12 balls to face here, but certainly made the most of them by seeing her side home in a hurry.

Chester Boughton Hall 144-8 (40; Ali Cutler 74, Georgia Munro 20, Hannah Marshall 3-22) (25pts)
Didsbury 139 (39.4; Roshini Prince-Navaratnam 64, Rosie Davis 20, Meg Cureton 3-20, Nandu Valliyil 3-26, Cutler 2-19) (8pts)

· Chester edged this tight contest, with Ali Cutler continuing her strong end to the season with both bat and ball.

Oakmere 140-9 (35; Emily Renshaw 33, Kerry Hartnett 33, Lucy Neill 3-21, Isabella Woodside 2-24) (25pts)
Stockport Georgians 103 (29.4; Gaby McKeever 43, Sophie Connor 4-9, Kate Renshaw 2-6) (8pts)
(Restricted to 35 overs per side owing to traffic issues)

· Oakmere edged a low scoring contest to leapfrog Didsbury and finish in third place.

Georgians' Liv Bell stands on the verge of a first international cap for the Scottish senior team. She has already played two friendlies against the Fairbreak International XI, with 11 runs and four overs for 23 runs in the first, and 1-28 from four overs in the second. After two T20 internationals as 12th player in the Ireland series, she was deprived of a full cap when the third match of the series was washed out. Her next opportunity may arrive in the T20 World Cup qualifying tournament that starts on September 18.

Nantwich (25pts) w/o Stockport Trinity (minus 10pts)

Division Two – September 11:

Upton 106-7 (35; Philippa Dagger 28, Cath Williams 21*) (7pts)
Leyland 107-8 (34.3; Lily Scudder 4- , Hannah McGowan 2- ) (25pts)
(Limited details available at present)

· A tense afternoon at Upton saw the home side crucially secure seven bonus points in this final over defeat, rather than six. This means that Upton could clinch the title by a single point from Lindow were they to win the final match at Oxton on September 18.

Hawarden Park 88 (25.3; Abbey Mayers 24, Jo Seddon 4-9, Claire Ashworth 2-11, Libby Ackerley 2-16) (4pts)
Lindow 89-4 (18.3; Heidi Cheadle 36 ret hurt, Llio Parry 2-18) (25pts)

· Lindow signed off with a comfortable win and having been runners up in Division 3 East only last year, they have now secured a top two finish in the higher division. Jo Seddon’s hat-trick was the highlight here, and Heidi Cheadle took her season tally to 432 before unfortunately having to retire hurt. Along with Leigh's Jaimie-Lee Strang, Cheadle heralded a new era in the league this year as one of the first women's overseas players to come to Cheshire specifically to play for a club team, with all previous CWCL overseas players having also been in the UK to represent counties.

Oxton (25pts) w/o Woodley (minus 10pts)

Division Four – September 8:

Stockport Georgians 3rd XI / North East Cheshire v Oakmere 2nd XI – Cancelled due to rain, 8pts each

September 11:

Langley 119-7 (20; Claire Thorley 36ret, Carolyne Jones 23, Charlotte Thompson 2-8, Steph Walker 2-21) (25pts)
Lindow 2nd XI 89-7 (20; Rachel Hoyle 29) (9pts)

· Another divisional champion to lose their final match was Lindow’s second team, losing out here to a Langley team who have very much enjoyed a successful season themselves.

Heaton Mersey & Cheadle 123-4 (20; Lauren Oliver 25ret, Jessica Isaacs 25ret, Angela Evans 2-20) (25pts)
Lymm Oughtrington Park 45-9 (20; Evans 10, Olivia Randles 2-5, Alice Hobbs 2-5, Eliza Chadwick 2-5) (3pts)

· A comfortable win for Heaton Mersey & Cheadle – their seventh success of the year.
