Huge total for Mason and Trinity

Division One / Two Cross Divisional – June 11:

Oakmere (25pts) w/o Oxton (minus 10pts)

Without needing to play, Oakmere took one step closer to what would be their first title since 2014. Having played more matches than their rivals, Oakmere are now five matches from glory.

Stockport Trinity 275-3 (40; Ellie Mason 105, Carys White 65, Sarah McCann 61) (24pts)
Wistaston Village 71 (29.2; Katie Bennett 22, Gillian Spragg 3-2, Mason 2-13, Katy Hart 2-16) (3pts)

Ellie Mason hit the highest individual score of the season so far, as her Stockport Trinity side ran up the largest team score of the season to date. Carys White made her maiden senior half-century, before excellent figures from all of the Trinity bowlers completed a massive win. The first division sides are still bossing the cross-divisional fixtures so far this year, even when teams from the top of the second division play teams from the bottom of the first.

Leigh 79-8 (25; Daisy Mullan 41, Roshini Prince-Navaratnam 3-7, Hannah Marshall 3-9) (5pts)
Didsbury 80-1 (20.3; Hannah Jones 30*, Prince-Navaratnam 24*) (25pts)
(Restricted to 25 overs per side)

After previously playing for Didsbury in the T20 competitions, Roshini Prince-Navaratnam made her full league debut for Didsbury, and played her part with both bat and ball as her team made it back-to-back victories. In the first Sunday league match of the year to be seriously affected by rain, Leigh were once again indebted to Daisy Mullan for allowing them to post a competitive total.

Division Three – June 11:

Hawarden Park 59 (27.5; Rachel Warrenger 13, Amelia Brereton 3-14, Liv Bell 2-11) (3pts)

Stockport Georgians 60-5 (21.4; L Bell 26*, Warrenger 2-1) (25pts)

· Georgians completed a league double over Hawarden as they march on at the top of division three.
